Nice steady climb after which you are rewarded with views over the grape fields of the Champagne region. Road surface is good and normally not much traffic but we visited the region during the grape harvest and then there is quite a lot of traffic and the road surface is soaked in grape juice in many places so you really have to be very careful on the descents, even more so when the streets are wet.
