Good tarmac and nice hairpin turns at the start of the climb. It starts gently, but once the hairpins are passed, you get some steeper sections of around 10%. Up to the village of Brume, the percentage goes down a bit, but then.... Once I passed the little chapel, I had to quickly switch down. The last 400m again went smoothly towards and above 10% to the summit. I think this is a mighty climb! Beautiful views and a good belaying spur through the forest are a nice reward then!... read more

A more gradual climb than the alternative version. You follow the main road and at Brume keep right into the village; make no mistake, at the end of the village you are treated to a steep finish! Wonderful climb!

Prachtige klim!

Nice U-turns, good road surface but the irregularity makes 'm a bit less chill. Percentages are doable though. Little traffic and at the top you come to Bassin de Brume/Coo Pump Storage. A nice piece of engineering. The view is also stunning from the 'top'!

The hairpins in the beginning are not too bad, but from the cemetery on it became really hard. When the hamlet comes in sight, the road flattens out, but once I passed the chapel, it's hard work again. The average is indeed 9%, but you have to walk a lot of 13-14% to really get to the top. At the top, you can go straight on for a few kilometers where false flat and short descents alternate.

A beautiful, fairly regular and difficult hill overlooking Trois-Ponts. It provides an alternative access to the Ancienne Barrière site while avoiding the much busier main road.
