Een van de vele klimmen vanuit Trois Ponts. Vanuit het centrum vertrek je en meteen kom je op een rustige weg terecht. Langs enkele statige villas maak je snel hoogtemeters. De klim wordt niet superzwaar, maar is toch redelijk lang en aardig steil. Een soort mix tussen een loper als de Rosier en een muurtje als de Stockeu eigenlijk.

Een geleidelijkere klim dan de alternatieve versie. Je volgt de grote weg en bij Brume hou je rechts aan het dorp in; vergis je niet, aan het eind van het dorp wordt je nog even op een steile afsluiting getrakteerd! Prachtige klim!
Nice U-turns, good road surface but the irregularity makes 'm a bit less chill. Percentages are doable though. Little traffic and at the top you come to Bassin de Brume/Coo Pump Storage. A nice piece of engineering. The view is also stunning from the 'top'!

Goed asfalt en mooie haarspeldbochten in het begin van de klim.
Hij begint rustigaan, maar eens de haarspeldbochten gepasseerd zijn, krijg je enkele steilere stukken van om en bij 10％ voorgeschoteld.
Tot het dorpje Brume gaat het dan weer iets rustiger met het percentage, maar dan... Eens het kapelletje voorbij was het voor mij snel terugschakelen. De laatste 400m gaan opnieuw vlotjes richting en boven de 10％ tot aan de top. Ik vind dit een machtige klim!
Mooi uitzicht en een goed bellende uitloper door het bos zijn dan wel een mooie beloning!
The hairpins in the beginning are not too bad, but from the cemetery on it became really hard. When the hamlet comes in sight, the road flattens out, but once I passed the chapel, it's hard work again. The average is indeed 9％, but you have to walk a lot of 13-14％ to really get to the top. Gemiddeld zal het inderdaad wel 9％ zijn, maar je moet wel een stevig stuk 13-14％ over om echt boven te raken. Boven kan je nog een paar kilometer rechtdoor waar vals plat en korte afdalingen elkaar afwisselen.
