Mooie kronkelende beklimming naar de grens. In functie van het seizoen, kan het hier relatief autodruk zijn. Voor een rustigere beklimming langs deze mooie kust, kan je ook de rustigere col doen tussen Port-Bou en Colera : daar rijd je over de oude autoweg, die nu nog amper gebruikt wordt aangezien er een autotunnel is door de rots.
