Unknown, somewhat dull and easily digestible climb in the Vosges, good as a warm-up for the harder work when starting from Gérardmer and wanting to skip the nicer Col de la Schlucht for once. After some glorified false flat, a few km of 4％ follow. The road knocks briefly through a sort of residential area but is not busy.
Onbekende, wat saaie en licht verteerbare klim in de Vogezen, goed als opwarmer voor het zwaardere werk wanneer je vanuit Gérardmer vertrekt en voor een keer de mooiere Col de la Schlucht links wil laten liggen. Na wat veredeld vals plat volgen een paar km aan 4％. De weg klopt even door een soort woonwijk maar is niet druk.
