A difficult but beautiful pass, mostly covered in forest (so the shade and coolness are welcome...).
Very little traffic. Passage at 12％ towards Fajolle then very regular (7 ％ / 8 ％). The final section is less strenuous.
Reward: the view of the Ariège peaks is breathtaking.
