Very busy road, especially in summer. Fortunately, there is a cycle lane on the right over most of it. The first section through Grasse is the steepest but actually also the easiest because of the variety and hairpin turns. On exiting Grasse, it is an endless main road uphill with no rest stops. The road is stuck against the cliff face with wide views to the left, if you can really enjoy them because of the traffic.
