A very pretty climb to reach Gap from Dévoluy! Note that the Climbfinder profile takes you off the Col route, which I recommend you follow. This road is in excellent condition (freshly resurfaced for the Tour de France 2024), a little longer but with a gentler gradient. There is very little traffic, and the climb is never very steep, except in the last few hectometres. Be careful on the way down: the scenery is magnificent, but the road is steep and sometimes strewn with stones that can fall out in bad weather.
At the pass you'll find a hostel, toilets and an information table on the local flora and fauna.
