The Col du Hantz is not a difficult climb. It is really a nice runner. You cycle continuously between the trees. Towards the end, you are treated to one of the most beautiful views in the Vosges. The road surface is top, traffic on this Monday afternoon is minimal. Just because of the view, this climb is already mandatory :)
