The climb gives you access to other nice roads, where you can send off on the good surface and wide road. The high ground at the end is pleasant.

Regular ascent from Toulon on a wide road. The route leads to Le Broussan or on to Mont Caume.
The second part of the ascent is quiet in the forest.

Climbed on 18 April 2022. Beautiful spring day and took the route from the museum in Toulon (D62). This route is the most used and later joins the D62 to the Col de Garde. Unfortunately, there are few road number signs left in Toulon. So navigate by street name or with the bike computer. Nice wide tarmac road to the Col. From the Col, further climb possible (and recommended!) to the top of Mont Caume via a narrow rough tarmac road. Road surface is fine, road is wide and there is relatively little traffic. Concerns south slope so in the summer certainly a warm climb!
