From Cornimont a steady climb. The climb is always steep, with no area to recover.
Virtually no traffic. The tarmac is fine.
Beautiful view of La Bresse from the summit.

Very gentle climb among small drops. Not to be underestimated though. Firm climb.

Fine climb with percentages not to be underestimated on a very quiet road. The summit also really looks like a col with nice views, a mini ski resort and some catering facilities (even though they are not open outside winter I think). I liked the other side of the Col du Brabant better, though.

After having climbed Le Grand Ventron from Cornimont, we descended via Ventron to cycle from Cornimont back to La Bresse via this col. Pretty steep climb with nice views, and fortunately no fog like on the Ventron.
At the top is a restaurant where I have sat later in the week after a mountain bike trip, at the top of the Col a number of MTB routes meet.

On our way to Le Grand Verton we took the wrong turn and ended up on the Col de Brabant. Not a bad decision: a steep, but beautiful climb. Afterwards we descended via the back of the Grand Verton.

At the top, nice view on La Bresse, and the possibility to continue to the Col de la Vierge. Worthwhile!

Moeite waard!
