I cycled the col de Vasalla as part of the Chisà -Travo-Chisà route.
There was little traffic on the route in September and that is just as well because the road is narrow and has many short turns.
The road surface is moderate to fair and lacks guardrails at steep precipices so very dangerous.
The Vasalla has a fairly steep section of up to 14% which I had great difficulty with.
But as a whole doable and very beautiful!
At the top at Chisà, another tough climb around the village awaits.
Highly recommended, beautiful scenery, challenging climbs.
