Climbed 2 April 2022. It was already warm and most of this climb is in the sun. Nice start along a Roman aqueduct. This road is d old connecting road from Roquebrune to Ste Maxime. The road may be closed in high summer due to forest fire danger. This is then indicated (red sign) at the start. Beware: driving anyway and get caught? 135 euros fine! Climb is regular and doable, last stretch is easier than the start. The road is only moderate and especially the descent after the col in the direction... read more

Ascent completed on 10 May 2025.
The profile is accessible without any particularly demanding sections.
You'll appreciate how few cars you pass.
On the other hand, the road is in poor condition - very poor in places...

Climb is regular and doable, last stretch is easier than the start. The road is only moderate and especially the descent after the col in the direction of Vidauban even bad. Be careful! Road is used on some days by an autoralley and is then closed. Beautiful panorama's. Col sign is missing but about 1 km before the col there is a sign indicating Valdingarde (see photo). No facilities on the col. Highly recommended!

Beklommen 2 april 2022. Aanrader!
