Although it has the distinction of being a named col, there are probably better climbs to do nearby. It seemed an obvious route for me to take on my 1999 cycle camping tour, and even with panniers and poor fitness it what was not very hard. Although it has the distinction of being a named col, there are probably better climbs to do nearby. It seemed an obvious route for me to take on my 1999 cycle camping tour, and even with panniers and poor fitness it what was not very hard.
