Beautiful climb, also known as the start of the magnificent 'via del sale' route that you can do on MTB. Just before the summit, there is also a cosy rifugio where you can take a break after the climb and to the left of the summit, the old Fort is also well worth a visit!
Climbed in October 2023, climbed here from Peveragno, about 45 km, actually all very slight uphill to nice solid climbing. Road has been completely resurfaced, so my wheelset with 44 mm gravel tyres was not needed 🤪. Beautiful climb, all the way to the border!
