From Valdrome there are signs indicating the gradient for the next km. Apart from the bit to get out of Valdrome, the first km is the steepest (7.2%) and each following km is slightly flatter until only 3.5% for the last km. The col is not spectacular, only if you ride a little further you get a nice view. Actually, the attraction of this climb is that it is so wonderfully quiet...but quite hot in summer.
