Especially nice to be able to avoid the main road for a while. Otherwise not very special, but it was nice to drive a different route than normal towards Die.

In spring 2022, we cycled from the campsite in Die every day. On the 2nd day, a lap towards Luc-en-Diois, over Col Miscon and then back to Die. I had already seen that I could avoid a stretch of main road by riding via Col Reychasset.
Only the 2nd day of the season with the rather steep Col Miscon in the legs, I was parked on such'a dastardly climbmet as Col de Reychasset. Still, it turned out to be disappointing.
It is a narrow road, from St Roman it is a bit of a search through the village, but keep to the small signs to Laval d'Aix. Quietly up through the vineyards and then the last bit suddenly along a cliff. Quite a surprising landscape. By the way, according to the topographical map, the "real" col is already reached after 1.1 km on the little plateau, the highest point as indicated here is a bit further.
