I've ridden it about 100 times and never encountered more than 3 cars, most of the time, none at all. Combined with Col de la Fage (from Rennes les Bains) or Col de Paradis (from Couiza) and Col de Linas (towards Bugarach), you get a serene, scenic ride of about 3 hours. In fact, the whole area east of Limoux/Couiza/Quillan, in the Orbieu valley is full of gorgeous little climbs and valleys that are completely off the cycling map and with virtually no traffic.
