Quiet climb, first over the small D173a and then the larger D173. But bigger is certainly not busier. In the steeper part there is little shade, but after an unnamed hill the gradient drops to time 4%, there is a lot more shade on the road, which is nice on a summer day. From here, there are also beautiful views to the left.

Quite a nice climb in beautiful surroundings but not one meter flat. This hidden gem is located on a higher plateau not far from Nyons. The climb is tough because of the successive climbs you have to pass to get here. And if you don't count the last 1.3 km, it's quite an effort.
The road is in good condition and there is no traffic. Only for the beautiful surroundings and the salamanders and lizards you would do hell.
