Nice climb! Especially a bit just before Presles (after 5km). Via Rencurel, enjoy the descent.

Mooie beklimming!

This is really a gem! The road pops up as soon as you turn from 'main road' a narrow road crawls along the mountainside for miles and the views are fantastic!
At one point you come to a plateau and turn right on an even narrower road after a few kilometers more a glorified gravel path! But what a fantastic place!
I would not descend on this side but the col ride then you come after a kilometer or seven on a nice wide asphalt road out

The first part of this climb is marvellous in its beauty and has a strong Mediterranean character, even though we are still in the northern Alps. The corbelled passage in the cliffs of Presles (a popular climbing site), after the Col de Toutes Aures, is one of the most spectacular places in the Vercors, with a sublime view on the gorges of the Bourne and Chatelus. After accessing and crossing the Presles plateau in width, the road goes into the immense forest of the Coulmes. About two kilometres before the Pra-l'Étang pass, you can go straight on and climb to the Mont Noir pass, the highest point of the Coulmes.
