What a tough climb! My Garmin showed me a maximum gradient of 22%. You have to grit your teeth and hope it's not too windy. I was pleasantly surprised at the state of the road, I'd expected something catastrophic looking at StreetView but the surface is good. Once you pass the place called Griffoulou, the hardest part is behind you (the 6% passages will seem flat!). It's a climb that requires some preparation, but it's well worth the diversions, especially for locals as it's the highest road in the Tarn.
