For a very long time, the climb here remains at a low percentage. Towards the end, it gets really tough. Incidentally, you ride here unprotected from the bright sun. You hardly encounter any traffic. And the scenery is insanely beautiful.

For a long time we can enjoy the sun and the somewhat wild river. Only from the village of Albon-d'Ardeche on, the road gets a lot steeper, between 6 and 8 percent. Nevertheless, the climb is also very steady there. There are also parts where you will ride in the shade, which is nice because it is a lot cooler than down here. At the top you'll find the hamlet of Mezilhac, which is a traffic junction and where you can get some (expensive!) refreshments in the form of croque monsieur and a coke. After that, it's a nice downhill ride in all directions.
