From Die, you can make a nice little tour via Col de Marignac. If you go clockwise, the climb actually starts when you leave the main road with a first km of 4.5％ to and past Ste.Croix. After that, it goes up irregularly false flat for 9 km until St.Julien where the climb really starts. There is little shade on the route so the heat on a summer's day can be more demanding than the length or the gradient.
Descending to Die shortly after the side road to Marignac you have a nice view of the valley of the Drome.
Vanuit Die is een fijn klein rondje te maken via Col de Marignac. Ga je met de klok mee dan begint de klim eigenlijk al wanneer je de hoofdweg verlaat met een eerste km van 4.5％ naar en voorbij Ste.Croix. Daarna gaat het 9 km onregelmatig vals plat omhoog tot St.Julien waar het klimmetje echt begint. Er is weinig schaduw op de route dus de warmte kan op een zomerse dag zwaarder zijn dan de lengte of de stijgingspercentages.
Afdalend naar Die kort na de zijweg naar Marignac heb je een mooi uitzicht over het dal van de Drome.
