I did this climb in combination with a tour through the valley of Lescun, very worthwhile because of all the beautiful views of the Pyrenees you get here as a gift. In the beginning a few km climb, and once you are on top of the plateau of Lhers it is a relaxed ride to the end. Total quietness further on, only one cyclist encountered.
The name 'Col de Mansalier' I can not place anyway, find this name nowhere outside / nor on the Internet. The end point is also not a col but the end of an asphalt road (small) that turns into a footpath further into the valley. There is a mountain top 'Sommet de Mansalier' in the neighbourhood.
Road in good condition, up to 2.5 km before the end, this last piece is in terms of asphalt not the best (see the 1st 2 photos's).
