A beautiful pass on a wide road in perfect condition, well worth the diversions!
The start of the pass is just outside Montbrun-les-Bains, although there are already some steep gradients as you pass through the village. The first few kilometres are easy, right up to the first hairpin. Then it's 6-8% all the way to the summit. As you climb, the view over the valley becomes increasingly impressive, with Mont Ventoux in the background.
The traverse of Barret-de-Lioure, 1.5km from the pass, is steeper, up to 12%. The last kilometre is around 6%. You don't see the pass until the last moment. At that point, you can descend to the left towards Séderon or tackle the very affordable Col de l'Homme Mort to the right. There is a picnic table where you can enjoy the view.
A magnificent climb that offers breathtaking scenery. The views of Mont Ventoux are magnificent, and the further you go, the higher you climb.
A beautiful even ascent towards Séderon. On a beautiful day, after many turns, the Ventoux in all its glory. The descent is also according to suit on a good road surface.
A good pass which is well done thanks to its progressive difficulty and its 10km: be careful not to start too fast all the same!
Beautiful very smooth climb. The road is very good. At the top you could turn right to the Col de Homme Port or left down the Macuegne. View is beautiful over the valley where the Mont Ventoux is visible.
Mooie zeer egale klim.
