Not a very interesting pass. The first part of the route is on a road that doesn't give you any views at all. At first the view is nice but then you fall into the forest and there's absolutely nothing to see. The gradient is very uneven, sometimes going up, sometimes going down, so it's very difficult to get into a rhythm and keep it. The end of the pass, once you've crossed the Spanish border, is much nicer. The gradient is a little steeper, but steady and the tarmac is in very good condition. Unfortunately, there's no signpost at the top, only a bar-restaurant.
