Very nice climb to start with! Easy to get into your rhythm and nice and cool in the woods. Also very little car traffic.

Hele mooie klim om mee te beginnen! Gemakkelijk in je ritme komen en lekker koel in de bossen. Ook zeer weinig autoverkeer.

The beginning is very nice but as you dive into the forest, the tarmac gets worse, the gradients go up and the view is less. Unless you like conifers is not really a hidden gem. However, a tough climb it goes long and once at the top you can relax on the bench.

I rode this climb (from Cornimont) unintentionally because I wanted to avoid the rush hour to La Bresse. Pleasantly surprised with this choice. It is a quiet road up to the La Vierge, reasonable asphalt and up through a wooded area. Nowhere does it ever get difficult, you can ride it up reasonably steadily. Hidden gem!

Verborgen juweeltje!
