lange 'beklimming'.

Avoid this climb and take the Route de Lispach from La Bresse. This will take you to Col des Feignes in a quieter AND more beautiful setting. From Col des Feignes the traffic gets very busy and cycling is less pleasant.

Busy road, but good road surface as a result. The scenery is beautiful at times but the climb not really exciting apart from one steep section. The last part is false flat to the top.

I cycled the last part of this climb after going past Lac de longmer to avoid the busy col de la schlucht from Geradmer. So as Royaldinho points out after the turn-off. Then this climb is quite tough with 8-9% and a stretch of 10% but hardly any traffic and that makes it nice cycling. A relief when you then join the road at the top. Not in terms of traffic but great to pace again on the outer sheet.

Fairly easy, but long climb. You ride on the main road from La Bresse to La Schlucht and that means there is quite a lot of traffic. After 12 km of easy pedalling, after the exit to Gerardmer, it suddenly gets a lot harder. This lasts for a few km, after which you can calmly cycle on to the ski station of La Schlucht.
