Route en bon état mais énormément de circulation, ce qui gâche un peu l'ascension. Celle-ci est assez irrégulière et passe à travers les bois sur la fin, les paysages sont jolis mais je recommande largement le col de Ceyssat, un peu plus au nord, moins fréquenté, à niveau de difficulté égal qui vous permettra d'arriver au même endroit.
