Of course, this is not THE ascent of La Couillole, as it is in the opposite direction. But as part of the Route des Grandes Alpes, you should make the most of the descent to St-Sauveur! So "worth the detour" but for the descent!
Evidemment ce n'est pas LA montée de la Couillole, puisqu'elle se fait en sens inverse. Mais réalisée dans le cadre de la Route des Grandes Alpes, il faut surtout profiter de la descente vers St-Sauveur ! Donc "vaut le détour" mais pour la descente !!

Short climb from the village of Beuil. Few views on the way and there is a farm at the top. From the other side, it must be a very nice climb because the descent was stunning and long.
Kort klimmetje vanuit het dorpje Beuil. Weinig uitzichten onderweg en boven staat een boerderij. Van de andere kant moet het een hele mooie beklimming zijn want de afdaling was schitterend en lang.
