Nice climb which starts just outside Grenoble. Several steeper and less steep parts during the uphill swing. Rather a climb in steps with good possibilities to recover in between.
Mooie beklimming die vlak buiten Grenoble begint. Verschillende steilere en minder steile stukken tijdens het naar boven slingeren. Eerder een klim in trappen met goede mogelijkheden om tussendoor wat te recupereren.
Several high percentage passages but the climb is very short so you don't have time to burn out. Ideal to work on your punch and to do it all the way up!
Plusieurs passages à haut pourcentage mais la montée est très courte donc on n'a pas le temps de se cramer. Idéal pour travailler son punch et la faire à bloc !
Nice climb on a nice wide road, which can be quite busy at rush hour. Note a very sharp break in the gradient not far from the end of the climb. This climb is an interesting "alternate route" for cyclists who want to access the Belledonne balcony from Gières and the surrounding area without having to "stuff" themselves on the very, very busy D524 between Grenoble and Uriage.
Belle côte sur une belle route assez large, qui peut être assez fréquentée aux heures de pointe. À noter une très forte rupture de pente non loin de la fin de la montée. Cette côte est un « itinéraire bis » intéressant pour les cyclistes qui veulent accéder au balcon de Belledonne à partir de Gières et des environs sans avoir à se « farcir » la très, très fréquentée D524 entre Grenoble et Uriage.
