It was a very nice climb, which I did at the end of the afternoon and therefore entirely in the shade, and I enjoyed it. Nothing difficult until the last 1.5km ramp at 10-15%! So I'll have to make sure I keep my pedal to the metal at the end.
Ideal intermediate col on the way to the Ramaz. It's not that spectacular but you do have a drinkable fountain at the top. Very handy! The Café and restaurants at the summit also looked cosy. Be careful though because in the summer of '25 there are roadworks as you turn onto the road towards Essert-Romand starting point coming from Saint-Jean-d'Aulps. It looked like this is for a long time.
very nice climb, little traffic; beware of varying road surface quality especially when descending and on a sunny day with stark contrast between sun and shadow you can easily miss a pothole or gravel on the tarmac
A fine climb, very quiet after the village.
No major difficulties apart from the last kilometre where you need to have kept your legs!
