Nice climb, nice and steady. As a reward beautiful panoramic view. During descending pay attention because of asphalt which is not so good here and there. Absolutely worth it!
Mooie klim, lekker constant. Als beloning prachtig panorama uitzicht. Tijdens afdalen wel goed opletten vanwege asfalt wat hier en daar niet zo best is. Absoluut de moeite waard!
After the Col Bayard, this is a very nice finish. Road surface is bad but by the tranquility and beautiful surroundings more than worth it! Definitely worth it to do.
Na de Col Bayard is dit een hele mooie afsluiter. Wegdek is slecht maar door de rust en de prachtige omgeving meer dan de moeite waard! Zeker de moeite waard om deze te doen.

Beautiful scenery, the climb is constant 10% with occasional outliers to 12/13%, asphalt is bad but doable, this gives a nice extra challenge because you are forced by the asphalt to sometimes take the inside corner in the hairpin bends, view over Gap makes the reward complete!
Prachtige omgeving, de klim is constant 10% met af en toe een uitschieter naar 12/13%, asfalt is slecht maar goed te doen, dit geeft een mooie extra uitdaging omdat je door het asfalt gedwongen word om soms de binnenbocht te nemen in de haarspeldbochten, uitzicht over Gap maakt de beloning compleet!
This is a very tough climb. Only 5 km long, but there seems to be no end to it. This is the kind of climb where you think, why am I doing this?
You can not do it without doing the Col Bayard. So it is a kind of diptych like the Galibier. From Gap it is a climb of about 13 km, harder than the Alpedhuez. A real Hors Catogerie!
Dit is een ontzettend zware klim. Slechts 5 km lang, maar er lijkt geen einde aan te komen. Tis zo een klim waarvan je denkt, waarom doe ik dit?
Je kunt hem niet doen zonder de Col Bayard te doen. Tis dus een soort tweeluik zoals de Galibier. Vanuit Gap is het dus een klim van pakweg 13 km, zwaarder dan de alpedhuez. Een echte Hors Catogerie!!
