I make this road regularly, very beautiful landscape when one arrives at the level of castelnou. Very few or almost no cars on the road. The road is in good condition. As far as difficulty is concerned, it is quite difficult when you start and especially during 1km when you arrive at the level of the castle of castelnou where the percentages are the strongest. But I recommend this route and especially the loop that can be done down to Montoriol, Fourques.... read more

Great climb from Thuir. Recommend to go. It was a nice and regular climb, first passing Castelnou and then to the intersection with Coixas. Views of Castelnou, the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean are super. Some steeper parts, but the views are worth it. During the ride little cars, especially after Castelnou you have it all to your own, making it a special ascend
