Superb ascent, once at the top you can switch to the pretty village of Pont de Montvert or if you have the courage, you can climb from the pass to the summit which gives a view of the whole of France. On a clear day you can see the Alps, the Pyrenees, the sea, the Auvergne mountains...
It is notably from there that France was mapped in the 18th century.
Superbe ascension, une fois en haut vous pouvez basculer vers le joli village du Pont de Montvert ou si vous avez le courage, vous pouvez monter depuis le col jusqu’au sommet qui donne un point de vue sur toute la France. On peut y voir par temps clair, les Alpes, les Pyrénées, la mer, les monts d’Auvergne…

The ascent of the Col de Finiels from Le Bleymard is very pleasant and without major difficulties. The first part up to the ski station: Le Bleymard / Mont Lozère is quite easy and the final part towards the pass is easy. The panorama at the pass allows you to discover the Mont Lozère massif.
La montée du col de Finiels depuis le Bleymard est très agréable et sans grandes difficultés. La première partie jusqu'à la station de ski : Le Bleymard / Mont Lozère est assez roulante et le final vers le Col est aisé . Le panorama au col permet de découvrir le massif des Monts Lozère.
