Climbed on 1 July 2025 with the cycling club 'Les Potes de La Motte'. Started from the Nécropole Nationale de Vassieux-en-Vercors(official starting point of the col). Then it is 5.9 km. First climb to the Col de La Chau. Today 'canicule' so very very hot and dry wind. That makes the climb tricky. Ascent rate not too bad, but then the climb is not short. Eerst klimmen naar de Col de La Chau. Vandaag 'canicule' dus zeer zeer warm en droge wind. Dat maakt de klim lastig. Stijgingspercentage valt mee, maar de klim is dan niet kort. Prachtige vergezichten over de Vercors. Weg is prima, nauwelijks verkeer. Op de col geen 'col bord' maar wel een indicatie tussen de wegwijzers (zie foto). Na de col na 300 meter een restaurant en faciliteiten bij de grote parkeerplaats van het skigebied.
