Climbed on 1 July 2025 with our cycling club 'Les Potes de La Motte''. After an overnight thunderstorm, beautiful wisps of fog at the start of this climb. Good easy not too long climb. Good road surface and little (if any) traffic. Beautiful scenery. No facilities on the col. There is a 'cabane' on the col with tap and toilet, but it is not always open. Car park for campers and starting point for walks. In hot weather : bring plenty of drinks!... read more

This slope is very pleasant and a change of scenery, alternating between uphill and downhill, but it can hurt your feet if you push hard. On the other hand, it's all in the forest but with clear views, which is very pleasant.

The Carri pass! My first pass! I first climbed it via La Barraque. I had a hard time of it at the time because it was so long for a first ascent. This side is really easy. Ideal for starting out in the mountains without scaring yourself. On the contrary, you climb and feel reassured. You get a taste for it and look for other, more difficult climbs. And you won't be disappointed here. The Vercors is a great place to learn about the mountains. And it's wild and beautiful.

Le col de Carri ! Mon premier col !
