Nice, not too long, but fairly steep col.
Hardly encountered any other cyclists, sometimes a car or camper.
The road surface is reasonably good, the upper part sometimes narrow, so watch out for oncoming traffic in the descent. At the top, a beautiful view of the Pic du Midi d'Ossau.
I myself did the descent back to Athas, but from the col you can go on to several other cols in the neighbourhood (Houratate, Labays, La Pierre st Martin).
Leuke, niet al te lange, maar wel redelijke steile col.
Nauwelijks andere fietsers tegengekomen, soms een auto of camper.
Het wegdek is redelijk goed, het bovenste gedeelte soms wel smal, dus opletten op tegenliggers in de afdaling. Boven een mooi uitzicht op oa de Pic du Midi d'Ossau.
Ikzelf heb de afdaling weer terug naar Athas gedaan, maar vanaf de col kan je door naar diverse andere cols in de buurt (Houratate, Labays, La Pierre st Martin).
