Starting from Larrau, the first 5 km go relatively well, although even if the average ％ are low, there are several steep passages. The last 5 km are very difficult. Virtually nothing below 10％ and constantly exposed to the sun. It climbs hard and the gradient doesn't soften when you look higher up. The last km is "easier" although there is a small wall just before the finish. The scenery is magnificent on the way up, but not at the summit.
Début depuis Larrau, les 5 premiers km se font relativement bien, quoi que même si les ％ moyens sont bas, il y a plusieurs passages raides. Les 5 derniers km sont très difficile. Pratiquement rien en bas de 10％ et constamment exposé au soleil. Ça grimpe fort et la pente ne s’adoucit pas lorsqu’on regarde plus haut. Le dernier km est plus « facile » quoi qu’il y a un petit mur juste avant l’arrivée. Les paysages sont magnifiques lors de la montée, mais pas au sommet.
