A very pleasant climb, fairly quiet with few cars passing, the road is in good condition and fairly wide. The gradient is not very steep, so it can be done in complete relaxation or at the back of the train. Relatively long, shady and sunny in places. Before reaching the summit, there is a small village with a grocery shop for water. Personally, I climbed to the summit and then came back down for my refreshment. A must-do if you're on this side of the island. It's one of the longest.
