Superb climb done on a road bike and gravel is not required in my opinion.
Pleasant in summer as a good part of the climb is in the trees.
Then if you continue towards Saint Jean, superb views of the heights!
I'm thinking of doing it again, the other sides seem much harder 😉

Superbe montée faite en vélo de route et le gravel n est pas requis à mon avis.
Agréable l été car une bonne partie de la montée est dans les arbres.
Ensuite si vous continuer vers saint jean, superbes vues sur les hauteurs !!
Je pense la refaire, les autres versants semblent beaucoup plus durs 😉

Nice climb. Nowhere really steep. Contrary to what is said above: there is no gravel anywhere. Everything is fine asphalt, a bit bumpy sometimes, but never bad.
Views no idea: I only had fog.
Finally: during several parts of the climb there were sheep, cows and horses walking freely on the road.

Leuke klim. Nergens echt steil en weinig verkeer. In tegenstelling tot wat hierboven staat: er is nergens gravel. Alles is prima asfalt, beetje bobbelig soms, maar nooit slecht.
Uitzichten geen idee: ik had alleen mist.
Tot slot: gedurende meerdere stukken vd klim liepen er schapen, koeien en paarden vrij op de weg.
