The better of the two ways up from Nannerch as slightly quieter (bottom half basically silent) and surface better to both roads meet up. Also, easier.. One both ways up a join, the road narrows with high hedges so take care if descending the other way. As the hedges disappear, the climb stiffens with a punchy section on poor tarmac before a short flattening to the summit carpark. Great & generally well surfaces descent with plenty of turns to keep you on your toes, just beware the final stee... read more

The better of the two ways up from Nannerch as slightly quieter (bottom half basically silent) and surface better to both roads meet up. Also, easier.. One both ways up a join, the road narrows with high hedges so take care if descending the other way. As the hedges disappear, the climb stiffens with a punchy section on poor tarmac before a short flattening to the summit carpark. Great & generally well surfaces descent with plenty of turns to keep you on your toes, just beware the final steep drop after the few houses where the surface becomes worse again.
