Ein sehr vielseitiger und langer Anstieg, der alles zu bieten hat: Der Anstieg aus dem Tal der Aare startet auf der sehr gut ausgebauten Hauensteinstraße und bietet oben bereits tolle Ausblicke auf das Mittelland. In Hauenstein wird die Route sehr ruhig und hinter Ifenthal deutlich steiler. Ein Stück ist kompaktierter Kies, lässt sich aber mit dem Rennrad gut fahren.
