A very varied and long climb that has everything to offer: The ascent from the Aare valley starts on the very well-maintained Hauenstein road and already offers great views of the Central Plateau at the top. In Hauenstein, the route becomes very quiet and then significantly steeper after Ifenthal. One section is compact gravel, but is easy to ride on a racing bike. After Ober Chall, the route leads through dense forest and then climbs steeply up to the Chilchzimmersattel saddle with great views... read more
