This climb is notorious. From Langenbruck, the start is leisurely as far as the former Schönthal monastery, but then it clearly gets into double figures and doesn't want to flatten out until the saddle. However, the climb leads through very beautiful countryside and the view from the Chilchzimmersattel in both directions is marvellous. Thanks to the good road surface and little traffic, you can concentrate fully on climbing!
Dieser Anstieg ist berühmt-berüchtigt. Aus Langenbruck heraus geht es zwar gemächlich los bis zum ehemaligen Kloster Schönthal, aber dann wird es deutlich zweistellig und will nicht mehr flacher werden bis zum Sattel. Allerdings führt der Anstieg durch sehr schöne Landschaft und der Blick vom Chilchzimmersattel in beide Richtungen ist traumhaft. Dank gutem Straßenbelag und wenig Verkehr kann man sich ganz aufs Klettern konzentrieren!
