If you come from Saint-Maurice, you go just before the former petrol station, to the campsite "Les Deux Ballons' to the left. Here you take the first left, once you have crossed the river the climb begins. You cross the Voie Verte, the first part of the climb is very good, once you have to Chemin Des Mineurs starts the steepest part, the very last steep part is in the last bend to the left. Here, the road surface is also in poor condition. In that respect, there are few or no pits, but to prevent melting asphalt seems to have slate flakes placed over the road surface. Do not let this stop you, once you are through the forest, you have a beautiful view of St-Maurice, Ballon d'Alsace and Rouge Gazon.
Als je vanuit Saint-Maurice komt ga je net voor de voormalige bezinepomp, aan camping "Les Deux Ballons' naar links. Hierbij neem je vervolgens de eerste straat links, zodra je het riviertje over bent begint de klim. Je kruist hierbij nog de Voie Verte, Het eerste stukje van de klim valt zeer goed mee, zodra je de Chemin Des Mineurs in moet begint het steilste stuk, het allerlaatste steilste stuk ligt hem in de laatste bocht naar links. Hierbij is het wegdek ook in mindere staat. In dat opzicht dat er weinig of geen putten zijn, maar ter preventie met smeltend asfalt lijken er leischilfers over het wegdek geplaatst. Laat je hierdoor echter niet tegenhouden, zodra je door het stukje bos bent, heb je een prachtig uitzicht over St-Maurice, Ballon d'Alsace en Rouge Gazon.
