Cette montée n’est pas extraordinairement dure, ni jolie, mais elle se fait au pied de la ville d’embrun, et est le final de la fameuse course triathlon Embrunman, pour cet aspect, il faut la faire. La route n’est pas dans un état excellent mais reste convenable pour des vélos de route. C’est surtout à la descente ans l’autre sens qu’il faudra faire attention. Si vous la faites en fin de journée, vous risquer d’avoir un bon vent de face (et très chaud).
