Superb road to ride. Better to enjoy it properly than trying to set a record time here. Unless you've done it 100 times already of course....

Especially with sunshine and pleasant temperature a nice ride to do a round in the Esterel. Not too hard , reasonable road surface, reasonably quiet outside July/August. Photogenic. Highly recommended. Also with UAE bikes. Note: this road can flood when it is a rainy period. Did the climb again on 14 September 2023. Lovely route, sometimes the road is a bit damaged. Superb views of Cap Roux and the Mediterranean sea. Definitely do it!
Zeker met een zonnetje en aangename temperatuur een leuke tocht om een rondje te maken in de Esterel. Niet te zwaar , redelijk wegdek, buiten juli/augustus redelijk rustig. Fotogeniek. Aanradertje. Ook met VAE fietsen. Let op: deze weg kan onderlopen wanneer het een regenperiode is. De klim nog maar eens gedaan op 14 september 2023. Heerlijke route, soms is de weg wat beschadigd. Schitterend uitzicht op Cap Roux en de Middellandse zee. Zeker doen!
As a climb it is not much, but in terms of atmosphere it is one of the most beautiful roads I know.
Als klim stelt het niet heel veel voor, maar qua sfeer is dit een van de mooiste weggetjes die ik ken.
