One of the options to ride from Route du Val-Dieu towards Aubel. Given the gradient, the first 500 metres are a bit of a struggle but after that it flattens out very quickly and you can continue cycling nicely.
Eén van de mogelijkheden om van Route du Val-Dieu richting Aubel te rijden. De eerste 500 meter moet je gelet op het stijgingspercentage even aan de bak maar daarna vlakt het heel snel af en kan je lekker doorfietsen.
Climb up through greenery and past some houses from the pretty Berwinne valley. From the start, it is soon nice and snappy. Then it flattens out. Sometimes nice views, especially to the back. The last part is so flat you can no longer call this a climb.
Klim door het groen en langs enkele huizen omhoog vanuit het mooie dal van de Berwinne. Vanaf het begin is het al snel lekker pittig aanpoten. Daarna vlakt het af. Soms mooie uitzichten, vooral naar achteren. Het laatste deel is dusdanig vlak dat je dit geen klim meer kan noemen. Redelijk tot goed asfalt.
Quiet climb. There are a lot nicer climbs in Val-Dieu like Les Waides and Holiguette, but for a change it is nice to try this one.
Rustige klim. Er zijn een stuk leukere klimmen te vinden in Val-Dieu zoals Les Waides en Holiguette, maar voor de afwisseling is het fijn om deze eens te proberen.
