One of the climbs to ride from Route deVal-Dieu towards Aubel. The first bit you have to work hard but after a while it flattens out to false flat.
Eén van de beklimmingen om vanaf Route deVal-Dieu richting Aubel te rijden. Het eerste stuk moet je even aan de bak maar na verloop vlakt het af tot vals plat.
The first part is still a nice climb. Then it becomes false flat which lasts for a while. Sometimes nice views back into the Berwinne valley. Here and there (especially in the first part) the asphalt along the verge is moderate to bad.
In het eerste deel is het nog lekker klimmen. Daarna wordt het vals plat wat nog wel even duurt. Soms leuk uitzicht naar achteren het dal van de Berwinne in. Her en der (vooral in het eerste deel) is het asfalt langs de berm matig tot slecht.

Instead of going to Aubel, you can descend towards Val-Dieu, cross over and climb up to the beautiful Saint-Jean-Sart.
Weinig interessante klim. Minder drukke baan richting Aubel dan de hoofdweg die aan Val-Dieu start, maar niet zo best asfalt, en enkel in het begin mooie uitzichten.
Ipv naar Aubel te rijden kan je wel dalen richting de baan van Val-Dieu, oversteken en klimmen naar het mooie Saint-Jean-Sart.
