This beautiful Ardennes climb starts after turning right down the mainly descending road to the Lesse river from Celles.
Just steep uphill, past the parking and entrance of one of Belgium's most beautiful medieval castles, into the forest.
After a short descent and right turn, the route continues on long straight road less ascending on the open plateau with arable land to the highest point.
Wide views.
Weids uitzicht.
Nice climb in a very beautiful setting, with a beautiful view of the superb Vêves castle at the foot. The rest of the route is on a wooded road which is unfortunately in a catastrophic state in places (although this is especially true on the descent)
