After a relaxed start on an excellent link road through pleasant surroundings, you turn left into a smaller road in Winamplanche. The tarmac here is less but still very doable. The percentages go up considerably and stay that way for such a long time that it really does feel tough because curve after curve (and there are a lot of bends) the road keeps climbing. Beautiful scenery with nice views at times. After a small descent, the final climb through Creppe is just a small bump.... read more

Great climb, nice and gentle but irregular. You can also get to the Rosier nicely via this one. Landscape is somewhat agricultural.

I rode it from Winamplanche and was pleasantly surprised by this beautiful thing ! Chasing the roar of the passing motorcycles, I tried to find a comfortable pace to ride with ease to the top of this Wall of Creppe, as many cycling fanatics dare to call it. It is a real pleasure to stand on the pedals here in the middle of nature and to search for the border between progress and collapse. The first part (from the Winamplanche cemetery until it turns left uphill) is still open in the landscape after which you really get going (here after 2.6km) and are increasingly surrounded by trees. Once past this section and out of the forest, there is a short descent where you can pick up some speed to comfortably survive the last bump to the centre.
